The ‘Full House’ Cast Today: Where Are They Now?

Whatever happened to predictability?

The ‘Full House’ Cast Today: Where Are They Now?
ABC/Throwback Pop

Brace yourself, OG Full House fans. The wholesome TGIF show turns 38 years old on September 23rd. That’s right, Danny Tanner started giving his epic moral talks way back in 1987— all while he and the guys basically raised a whole generation of kids.

The series ran for eight seasons before the cast parted ways. Though they all went on to have separate successful careers, they famously stayed close. Here’s what some of the main stars are doing today.

John Stamos

Uncle Jesse star John Stamos is still as dreamy as ever at 61. After leaving the sitcom, he went on to play in dozens of series and had longstanding roles in hits like ERGleeGrandfathered, and Scream Queens. Stamos also still travels with The Beach Boys. He even earned a Primetime Emmy nod for his spot in the TV special The Beach Boys: An American Family

Stamos is also a family man offscreen. In 2018, he married actress and model Caitlin McHugh, seven years after meeting her on the set of Law & Order: SVU. They now have a five-year-old son, Billy.

Candace Cameron Bure

After playing DJ Tanner, Candace Cameron Bure went on to be the face of Hallmark, a fashion designer, film producer, wife, and mother.

The now 47-year-old spent most of her acting career staring in and producing with Hallmark. The annual Countdown to Christmas and the Aurora Teagarden series were among her most popular projects.

Last year, however, she broke away from the network and penned a deal with the Christian-based Great American Family. Because of her strong faith, she decided it would allow her to create projects that better reflect her beliefs.

The businesswoman also keeps busy with her QVC clothing line, her husband of 27 years, Valeri Bure, and their three children, Natasha Bure (25), Lev Valerievich Bure (23), and Maksim Valerievich Bure (21).

Bob Saget

On January 9, 2022, Full House fans mourned the death of Danny Tanner star Bob Saget. The comedian suffered an accidental blunt head trauma in a hotel room in Orlando, FL. He was 65.

Saget left behind a wife, Kelly Rizzo, and three daughters from his former marriage to Sherri Kramer: Audrey Saget (36), Lara Saget (33), and Jennifer Saget (30).

Dave Coulier

Joey Gladstone’s Dave Coulier, 64, is still making fans laugh as a comedian, but he’s largely out of the spotlight. The star struggled with alcoholism for decades but has been sober since 2020. In a 2022 Instagram Post, Coulier said, “When I drank, I was the life of the party. I could make people laugh until they fell down.” He added that a day of drinking with “the boys…was followed by two days of feeling like a big bowl of dog mess.”

Coulier credits his wife of nine years, Melissa Bring, with helping him find sobriety. He announced he had stage 3 non-Hodgkin's lymphoma in October 2024, but is now cancer-free.

Dave Coulier also has one son, Luc Colier (32), with his ex-wife, Jayne Modean.

Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen

Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen, the twins who played Michelle, became superstars thanks to their Full House fame, but they got out of acting around 2010 because the duo preferred a more private life.

Today, Mary Kate and Ashley co-run their fashion lines, The Row and Elizabeth and James. The latter is named after their siblings. You may recognize Elizabeth Olsen from the Marvel Universe.

Mary Kate married Olivier Sarkozy in 2015, but the couple divorced in 2021. Ashley married Louis Eisner in 2022, and they have one child, son Otto.

‘Full House’ Castmates Reunite for Reboot

All the main stars of Full House—except Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen—reunited in 2016 for a reboot named Fuller House. All five seasons are available on Netflix.

The original series is also available on the same streamer for non-ad-supported membership plans.
